VONosphere is headed by industry veteran journalist Paul Kapustka and is meant to serve as the main gathering point for all the varied types of content already being produced at pulvermedia, beginning with our weekly news video "webisodes" and our featured blogs, which break news and offer industry thought-leading analysis: The Jeff Pulver Blog, Paul Kapustka’s Blog, and the VONoblog. VONosphere’s home page will also provide links to the rest of the content created at pulvermedia and pulver.com, including the Pulver Podcast Network and VON Magazine

“My goal for VONosphere is to be an independent, objective center for information about IP-enabled communications, as well as the Voice and Video over IP industries,” stated Kapustka, editor of VONosphere and vice president of online content for pulvermedia.

Building Community and a Voice for the IP Communications Industry

Unlike traditional news sites, VONosphere will focus on analysis and opinion of news as it happens by leveraging the “sphere” of the VON community who in their own right are opinion and thought leaders in the policy, technology, standards and business opportunity issues surrounding the IP Communications industry.

“VONosphere is as much a conversation about the IP Communications industry as it is an industry portal,” commented pulvermedia chairman Jeff Pulver.  “I encourage PR professional to pitch trend stories for their clients, for industry bloggers to send us recent posts that you have created that can be linked to this site, and for government and policy leaders to contribute their ideas to extend the debate in an open and transparent media platform.”
