Last year, Kevin LaRue from CreativeLink invited me to the The Cinco de Guyos cook-off at Fiesta Texas. It was meat heaven.
Here’s Ryan Carroll who works with Kevin over at CreativeLink giving us the low-down on what the Cinco De Guyos crews are doing to getting the pits warmed up for the Third Annual Meat Me at Pearl BBQ Cook-Off.
This year, they’re going all citified moving the event from a park in Bulverde to the beautiful grounds of the Pearl Brewery adjacent to the newly opened Museum Reach of the San Antonio Riverwalk.
They are expecting 50 cooking teams and 5,000 guests to join in, enjoy wonderful BBQ and help raise money for KIPP Academy.
Kudos to ya’all in having fun, keeping meat as part of our fundamental right as Texans and giving back to a great educational institution.
