The Ties That Bind: Puerto Rico’s Social Communications and Startup Communities Shine at the State of NOW #140Conf Meet Up

I’m posting this as I am getting ready to head to the airport to return to mi casa en San Antonio where I live.  This visit to meet and connect with the State of NOW – #140Conf Community in Puerto Rico has been a real eye opener.

Here’s just a sampling of the voices we discovered, sharing their passion, energy and goodness. I’ll be posting more through the week as I collect my thoughts and process this experience.

While an island in the literal sense, the 125 people from Puerto Rico who came together last night at the San Juan Marriott illustrated a common voice of connecting with their respective audiences, communities and team members both here in this wonderful Caribbean paradise, and worldwide.

Special thanks to Mark Hayward and Raul Colon who brought Jeff Pulver and I here, and our gracious host, Melissa Delgado and Julian Cable-Treadwell with the Marriott.

  1. Awesome job capturing these quick snippets of people and helping them get their message amplified. At the end of the day it is about relating to those you have a common interest in which sometimes ends up being something you never share. Thanks again for coming down to help us in that way!

  3. Thanks again for the opportunity to share insights over these last two days. It was great meeting you and Jeff. Can’t wait to learn about others that were at the even last night that I did not get to talk too.
