For the last four months, we’ve quietly been working under the radar with a new client, Vulano Group. Today, we announced that their previous company, Vesuvius, an intellectual property holding company, has been acquired by QUALCOMM. There is a good article about them which explains what they did and where they are going.
We developed the messaging for both companies, interfaced with QUALCOMM to get approvals on the announcement and lined up key interviews with local and wireless related media. Since the company has offices in San Antonio and Austin, we worked with the business media in both cities which resulted in coverage.
The core team from Vulano’s team consists of some of the foremost experts in technology,
business, marketing, and legal matters, including a world-class
specialist in strategic technology consulting and development, a former
Presidential Appointee who served as Assistant Secretary of the U.S.
Department of Commerce, and one of the foremost patent attorneys in the
countryconsists of three very bright and different people who bring a combination of business acument, technology understanding and the legal aspects of intellectual property.
Their new gig under the name Vulano will focus on developing proprietary next-generation technologies and holding broad, dominant patent portfolios in multiple disciplines, including the wireless sector, telecommunications, enterprise and consumer software, security, bio-sciences, and medical devices. The company identifies future market opportunities and develops world-class intellectual property portfolios through its proven multi-step process, known as IP, which we actually developed the name for.
We look forward to our continued relationship with this new client. It’s always very gratifying to help shape and formulate a company’s vision and turn it into successful media coverage and business success.
