Leverage the Name of Your Customer

There are times in the blog when I can point to a specific client by name, and other times when it’s just not the right thing to do. In this case, I can’t mention the client.

One of our clients will soon be announcing a licensing deal with a major Japanese conglomerate. We collaborated on writing the news release for their customer. We supplied proposed quotes, the messaging, and set the tone for the release. Today, we submitted the launch plan and it’s in Japan being reviewed.

Best of all, their customer, and not our client will be making the announcement. This brings tremendous credibility when you have the 800 pound gorilla coming out and saying that they have come to you to license your intellectual property and add value to their product.
