How to Best Manage Contributed Articles

A great way to establish your credibility, add content to your web site, and have a new form of collateral your sales force can have in order to fortify their selling efforts is to contribute articles and content to media sites.

The fastest and easiest way to do this is by following the writer’s guidelines that are generally avaiable from most media web sites.  An example you can view demonstrates that as a rule, you have to write for the correct audience, follow their style guides, meet their deadlines and make sure the person contributing is helping the readers and not selling to them.  And once your article is accepted and appears, make sure and purchase the reprint rights in order to post the article to your web site and have it available for your sales force to sell!
