Today at Google’s Tel Aviv campus, I spent the day holding office hours, mentoring five wonderful startups, followed by the presentation below to the community.
Most startups aren’t ready for PR, or even publishing branded content. You can, however, practice writing without publishing, discovering journalists, bloggers and analysts who follow your space and your competitors, and tune into the voices that are helping to shape the market you are trying to disrupt. Start off listening, discovering, and understanding the editorial fabric of the coverage in your space. Doing so helps you get ready for when the tine is right for PR.
