We pitched this story in early August. From the time we made the pitch, had the abstract written and had it accepted, it was a 90 day cycle. And being that it will be from August 1, 2004 until February 1, 2005 when the article actually appears, it can often be a six month cycle from concept, to pitch, to ink.
This is a not a news magazine in the vein or eWeek or InfoWorld. This is a very serious journal. Getting coverage in the likes of an industry journal like this also makes for very good reprints…one of the best selling tools your sales team can have.
