Donna Griffit scales, launching new startup, invisu.me — Off to Ramp up in Silicon Valley

Yes, that’s quite a headline.

Donna Griffit in action at industry conferences , meetups, and events....

You should expect nothing less from Donna Griffit.

Donna has helped something to the tune of 500 startup companies get really really really good (yeah – she’s that good) at crafting and delivering their messages.

She’s done this working one-on-one with individual companies, working with leading VCs and investors, and Google’s LaunchPad program in Israel and all over Europe.

She has spoken and given seminars at every major accelerator in the country that are practical, compelling and very useful. I know, because I have been to them.

While Donna is great at helping the startups, there is a limit to what she can practically do.   There are way too many startup needing her help, and as she started to gain inquiries from around the world for her help, the entrepreneurial light bulb went off in her head.

Donna realized she had a method – and if she could codify it, perhaps she could clone – or rather scale Donna.

There was something else unfolding.

Investors of all types – from the big, traditional VCs, to the crowdfunding platforms, to angels and to individual investors were being inundated with proposals from startups for funding.

Not only were the proposals they were receiving not so on message – (uh….what do you do again?) but there was no mechanism or industry standard in place to help make the process of just getting the initial meeting in place.

From this opportunity and series of circumstances and opportunities, Donna created invisu.me – a dynamic one-page wizard which is aimed at helping startups tell their story in a clear manner and a more efficient way to bring startups and potential investors together.

The idea is not to get funding or get a deal done. It’s to get a meeting for both parties and save time and frustration in the process.

I think of Invisu.me as the most efficient speed dating / let’s just meet platform for startups and a potential investor.

It brings a standard to the industry, a level of professionalism that really make the startup think really hard about how to best present themselves before pre-qualified audience, and how to increase the chances of funding happen.

The good news is that there are lots and lots of startups doing really really cool things. The bad news is that there are just way too many startups, all vying for attention and yes, money.

Donna has figured out a way to solve the inefficiencies of this issue in a simple way, something that is scalable, and will help serve both parties.

Coaching 5

On January 17, Donna and her husband / entrepreneur partner in crime, Jonny and their daughter, are headed to Silicon Valley to launch and expand invisu.me

Donna told me that while they will be exploring ways to ramp up their business and help startups in the US the way she has done in Israel, she also sees this as a way to help her help the startup community in Israel to crack to code of Silicon Valley, and be somewhat of an introduction – matchmaker for companies not only looking for funding, but partnership, deal flow and other related opportunities.

We are not losing Donna.

We are gaining Donna in a new way.

I can assure you, that while Donna and her family will be in Silicon Valley, her connections and collaborating with Israel’s startup ecosystem can only gain in strength.
