I started off my day at the CES Show with a breakfast briefing from IDC on consumer technology trends in the home. Attending events like these during trade shows are a great opportunity to come and hear (and meet with) analysts.
I am also shuttling between two client booths, Waves and the Pulver’s VoIP Consumer Pavilion. Becase of the scope and size of the show, it is impracticle (impossible too) to sometimes make firm appointments with journalists and analysts who you want to meet with. Many journalists prefer to simply come by on the day when they plan to be in your area of the show. While this may not be the most efficient way to try to schedule interviews and meetings, they appreciate the fact that you respect the demands on your time.
