We do a lot of work on design wins for our clients. This means working with our client’s customer and getting them to acknowledge that our client’s technology will help drive their next generation of products.
For the last six weeks, we’ve been working with our client, Discretix, and their customer, Renesas Technology Corp., in developing advance briefings with analysts and journalists such as Gartner and EE Times. The announcement focused on the selection of Discretix’s CryptoCell security platform for the entire range of Renesas’ SH-Mobile processors.
We worked with their Marcom team and coordinated with the global Renesas team in the U.S. and Japan, as well as several analysts who reside in Asia and Europe.
When doing joint announcements, you need to allow four to six weeks to get the team in sync, coordinate and leverage each others media and analyst contacts and provide the right lead time for the publications you want to reach.
