Well, I really messed up last night.
As rule I carry my BlackBerry 8800 in the proper holster case which is clipped on to my belt.
Yesterday, I was wearing shorts (it’s really hot this time of year
in San Antonio) and did not have my holster case with me, so I put the
BlackBerry in my back pocket.
I then proceeded to do laundry….and unbeknown to me, I had left
the left the BlackBerry in my back pocket and into the wash it went.
Needless to say, this was not a great idea.
While I have a very clean BlackBerry, I died in the rinse cycle.
Do I Replace the BlackBerry or Shift to the iPhone?
The BlackBerry does what it’s supposed to do and does it very well.
And my friends who have iPhones have assured me that texting on a
iPhone, while taking a few days to adjust to, works like a champ.
My concern remains texting, battery life, and figuring out
AT&T’s global roaming plan for the iPhone because I do travel
overseas and don’t want to get slammed with additional charges when I
I am going to do research these issues, and would welcome any comments, experiences or suggestions you may have.
